Elena Schembri is a Senior Risk Associate at RMC Wise Ltd, specialising in risk management and internal audit for a diverse portfolio of clients, including Investment Firms, Asset Managers, Collective Investment Schemes, and Financial Institutions. With over 6 years of experience, Elena assists entities with identifying, evaluating, and mitigating operational and strategic risks, while also assessing the effectiveness of their governance and control functions.

Prior to joining RMC Wise Ltd in February 2025, Elena worked for a full-scope AIFM as a Senior Risk Officer, and as a Senior Analyst for the MFSA, within the Investment Firms Team and the VFA Function.

Elena graduated with an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Malta in 2018. Elena furthered her studies at the University of Bath, graduating with a Master of Science in Applied Economics (Banking and Financial Markets).
