Corinne Valletta is the General Counsel for Betsson Group, leading all legal, regulatory and compliance matters for the Group’s daily operations, based in Malta.

She originally joined Betsson Group in May 2017 as the Head of Regulatory Affairs and Group Compliance. Corinne has been following the industry since 2010. Her interest in its regulation, but particularly its politics, started with her role within Malta’s gambling regulator, where she spent the majority of her time supporting Malta’s participation in international and EU affairs. While this aspect remains her
dearest one, as in-house counsel Corinne enjoys overseeing various areas from licensing, horizontal
regulation and public affairs to commercial matters and tech contracts.

Corinne graduated Doctor of Laws from the University of Malta in 2009 and obtained her Masters Degree in Computer and Communications Law from Queen Mary University of London in 2011.
