Apac Head of Compliance

David is currently responsible for managing the Compliance practice in the Asia Pacific.  In particular David focuses on foreign exchange, securities financing, enhanced custody, currency management and treasury activities. David is also responsible for the managing of the relationships with the central banks and regulators in the region from the market Infrastructure, payment system, and supervisory perspective.

 

David was previously managing director, Asia Pacific for Global Financial Markets Association’s Global FX Division. David had been working with a group of 25 major international banks engaging in discussions with regulators and central banks in multiple jurisdictions around clearing, execution, trade reporting, code of conduct, and business practice rules. David has been taking a proactive role in ensuring the industry meets enhanced transparency requirements driven by the G-20 from the FX perspective.
