Martina Doherty

Business Psychologist

Martina Doherty is a business psychologist and accredited leadership coach who works with leaders and global organisations across a range of industries and sectors to create high-performing cultures. Prior to this she had a 20+ year career in PR and communications working with senior leaders in blue-chip, start-up and scale-up companies in Finance and Tech.

Martina holds an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology from the University of East London. All her training, education and coaching work is grounded in the principles of positive psychology – the science behind how and why people feel good and function well. Rather than focusing on solving problems, positive psychology emphasises “what’s strong” in individuals and across organisations. It is a methodology proven to help individuals and leaders tap into their strengths and the positive dynamics within their teams to create better and more productive working environments.

Martina is a member of and accredited by the European Coaching and Mentoring Council (EMCC). She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Galway, Ireland and Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Practice from the University of Galway. She has recently featured in Forbes and TheHRDirector.com.
