Peter is the co-founder of Aspida Group, a leading advisory firm in the Compliance, Risk Management and Assurance space. He is a Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Directors with a diverse background operating at management and board level predominately across all sectors of the finance industry in various jurisdictions. He has worked in the finance industry for over 25 years and held many roles, including prescribed positions in the UK, Guernsey and Jersey (i.e. Director, Chief Risk Officer, Compliance Officer and MLRO).

Peter is an active participant in the finance industry and has sat on numerous industry bodies, government boards and regulator project groups. His wealth of experience on boards led to him co-founding the Finance Sector Non-Executive Director Forum to assist directors in understanding their roles and engaging with relevant stakeholders. His broad experience is often used by clients to assess their strategic needs or provide pragmatic advice, especially in the areas of governance, risk and compliance.

Aspida Group and Diligex (a Malta-based AML/CFT compliance advisory and technology company) are collaborative partners since 2023 jointly offering combined advisory and technological solutions in compliance, risk management and AML/CFT to the market in Malta.
